Research
Key topics:
- Model-based and data-based diagnostic methods for early fault detection of hydrodynamic journal bearings based on acoustic emission signals
- Pattern recognition and classification of acoustic emission signals for the differentiation of hydrodynamic journal bearing friction states
- Model-based and data-based remaining useful lifetime prediction of hydrodynamic journal bearings based on acoustic emission signals
- prediction of wear height based on acoustic emission signals
- Signal processing of acoustic emission signals
- localization of mixed friction events
Short biography
From Oct. 2009 to Oct. 2012 I studied mechanical engineering at Leibniz University of Hannover (Bachelor). From Oct. 2012 to Jan. 2015 I changed to Technical University of Brunswick to study aerospace engineering (Master). During this time I worked at the German Aerospace Center in Brunswick and dealed with rocket propulsion.
Since march 2015 I work as a reasearch assistant at Technical University of Berlin. In my reasearch project, which is conducted on behalf of Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG and funded by the Federal Ministy of Economic Affairs and Energy, I do research on the early fault detection and remaining useful lifetime prediction of hydrodynamic journal bearings.
