The Chair of Electronic Measurement and
Diagnostic Technology is application oriented and researches practical
problems in automotive technology. We research measuring, simulation,
diagnosis and test processes as well as methods for measuring data
processing that significantly increase availability and quality of
automotive vehicles and improve their development process.
The fields of focus with competences are
- Modern Data Processing Methods (e.g. Wavelets) and Intelligent Sensors for Automotive Systems
- Modern nonlinear control strategies an their use in automotive powertrains
- Research on wear processes in automotive powertrains
- Simulation-, Test- and Calibration Methods for Automotive Electronic Control Units (HiL, MiL, SiL-Simulation)
- Modeling and Real Time Simulation of Automotive Systems
- Pattern Recognition and Technical Diagnosis
- Hybrid Vehicle Control Strategies
